Our Story
Red Tomato was started as a food hub in 1997 and developed the Eco-Certified fruit program in 2004 in partnership with the IPM Institute of North America to provide the highest quality produce possible and benefits the environment, the farmer, and the consumer. We work with distribution partners and aggregators in CT and MA to move food effectively through the region.

Healthy PlanEat is our essential provider of the best organic vegetables, bread, honey, meat and cheese from local farmers. Dr. Himmelstein's squashes, Drew's Velvet Honey, and Cato Corner cheeses deserve a special shoutout. Rosemary provides wonderful customer service, and we look forward to picking up our order every week!
